The Winona Amateur Radio Club holds a Winlink net each week.

The purpose of the net is two-fold.  First, we want to make sure our equipment is functioning correctly and we are familiar with it’s use.  The best way to do this is practice.  The second purpose is to provide a community where newcomers to Winlink (or packet, or other digital data modes) can ask questions, find answers, and most importantly, learn by doing.

To participate in the net, simply send a check-in message to W0NE@winlink.org any time between Monday, 00:00 through Friday 23:59 local time.

A simple 1-line check-in message is as follows:
Subject: Winlink Net Check-In
Email Body: Name, Callsign, City, County, State, Country, Mode (and Gateway if applicable)

Summer 2024 Check-ins:  Operators are encouraged to try new modes, forms, or other activities as long as the message noted in the email body above is included somewhere.  Feel free to note any interesting activities or discoveries and these can be made in to activities for the group once those start up again in the fall.

To stay up-to-date with the net, please sign up for the groups.io list using the sign-up form below.  Please include your callsign when registering.
