The Winona Amateur Radio Club holds a Winlink net on Thursday each week.

The purpose of the net is two-fold.  First, we want to make sure our equipment is functioning correctly and we are familiar with it’s use.  The best way to do this is practice.  The second purpose is to provide a community where newcomers to Winlink (or packet, or other digital data modes) can ask questions, find answers, and most importantly, learn by doing.

To participate in the net, simply send a check-in message any time on a Thursday.  A simple 1-line check-in message is as follows:
Subject: Winlink Net Check-In
Email Body: Name, Callsign, City, County, State, Country, Mode (and Gateway if applicable)

In addition to the standard check-in, some weeks we will be doing activities to learn and practice additional Winlink functionality (forms, etc…).  To stay up-to-date with the net, please sign up for the groups.io list using the sign-up form below.
